SPIC Website: SEP's First European Power Plant Wins ISO 14001 Certification

Recently, D3 Power Generation Limited (D3) was granted the ISO 14001 authentication certificate by UKAS officially, and thus became the first overseas power plant controlled by SEP with international ISO certification.

In order to fulfill the commitment of "cleaner energy and better life" made to the Maltese government and meet the QHSE management requirements of SPIC and SEP, D3 launched the ISO system certification work formally in April 2017, in order to take ISO system certification as a starting point, and explore the QHSE management system conforming to both localization requirements and domestic standards.

The approval of ISO 14001 certification marked that SEP achieved another impressive result in energy investment in Malta, and that the company's overseas project management reached the international standard. In the next step, D3 will carry out the ISO 9001 certification while starting the ISO 45001 certification, so as to realize the full authentication of QHSE system. D3 will continue to push forward internationalized and standardized operation with every solid step, and provide SPIC and SEP with experience in overseas business development that could be generalized and replicated.
